Pressure Cooker Weight Sets

The weight set — the small weighted pin that sits on top of the steam vent in the centre of the lid — is the pressure regulator of your cooker. When pressure inside the cooker builds to the correct level, the weight lifts slightly and releases a controlled amount of steam, maintaining the right cooking pressure throughout. A missing, damaged, or incorrect-weight pin means your cooker either cannot hold the correct pressure or releases it at the wrong point, affecting both cooking results and safety.

Kitchen King weight sets are available as genuine replacement parts for the Blaze and Feast ranges. Three sets covering the full size range of Kitchen King pressure cookers are available. If you have lost your weight pin or notice it is damaged, a replacement is essential before using the cooker again.
