A degchi set means you never find yourself missing the size you need. The King Casserole Set gives you six graduated pots, numbered 1 to 6, from 18cm (about 7 inches) up to 30cm (about 12 inches), each with its own lid. That’s 12 pieces: six pots and six lids.
What each size is for: The small pots (numbers 1–2) suit tadka, sauces and a small daal or soups. The middle pots (numbers 3–4) suit everyday daal, curry and rice for the family. The large pots (numbers 5–6) suit meat dishes, biryani and cooking for guests.
Each pot is heavy-gauge aluminium with an anodized surface, designed to heat evenly and release food easily, with a fitted lid that holds in heat. It is not a nonstick coating, so use a little oil. For gas and electric glass stoves; not induction. Hand wash recommended.
